We Dont Party Normal
Players Carnival Troupe was founded in August 2010 on the spur of the moment by three close friends. The goal was to have an unofficial troupe march in the Anguilla Summer Festival parade that year . The attempt was somewhat successful, so the three founders decided to form an official troupe the following year. The recognition of the dying tradition and the low attendance of Anguillians in parade troupes fueled the desire to create something that was memorable and of high quality. The troupe’s founders were also relentless in their goal of preserving the beauty and splendor of the Anguilla Summer Festival and reminding residents and visitors alike of what the festival truly symbolizes.
The Players Troupe finished in second place in the Grand Parade of Troupes in 2011, and in 2013 and 2014, they won the overall competition, taking home awards for being the biggest and most colorful troupe as well as King and Queen of the Band! Players Troupe took first place in 2015.
Since then, we have had several wins and losses and we continue to do it for the love of our culture.

It has been our mission to deliver the greatest masquerader experience every year by matching the baddest jam in Anguilla with the greatest service. Yes we believe in “pretty mas” but it has to respresent us, our people and our culture.
